PROTECTIVE OVERGARMENT M3
The overgarment is intended for multiple protection of a wearer and his personal equipment and armament against toxic agens drops (aerosols), radioactive and atmospheric fallouts over the set for the contaminated soil marking as well as for single protection against thermal impulse of nuclear explosion and burning napalm composition. Complete with other personal protection equipment (mask, suit filtrating protective, gloves. socks) it provides combat readiness of a wearer regardless atmospheric conditions.

DESCRIPTION The protective overgarment is made of polyester fabric coated by each side with rubber based on butyl and chlorosulphonated polyethylene. There is a sewed up hood with a cord for adjustment and slots for hands. It is available in three sizes: small-up to 170 cm; medium – from 171 cm to 180; arge – above 180 cm height. The mass of an overgarment is not more than
1350 g.

TECHNICAL DATA. Yperite drops penetration time through overgarment (material,seam) is not less than 360 min. After fivefold alternative contaminations and decontaminations penetration time is not less than 110 min. Decontamination efficiency of an overgarment contaminated with S-yperitc droplets is not less than 90%. Under the effects of TINE of 30 Kt for 3.5 s it doesn’t bum out. Under the effects of burning napalm compound it doesn’t burn out for at least 15 s. When napalm compound stops burning an overgarment is capable to self-extinguish. Its green color makes it good for camouflage in the visible and IC area of electromagnetic spectrum (400 to 1000 nm). Reflecting value of an overgarment surface is less than 3. It retains its features in the temperature range from -30°C to +50°C. The material is waterproof and resistant to mold. Shelf life under storage conditions is 10 years, under use 5 scars.
